Keeping Busy
It's been tough trying to balance school, clubs, sports and a social life. As a telecommunication-news major, all of my classes have been about how to write and report on news. Anything sports related has been on my own time in addition to all of my classes. I currently am a sports anchor for WUFT-TV, the TV Gator volleyball beat reporter, UAA photographer and a reporter for WRUF-FM.
More recently, I've been working on my website and reel to send off to employers. Journalists have to be passionate about their subject, because it takes a lot of work to go into one story. You can find me in the newsroom until 4 a.m. sometimes editing video, and every weekend I'm at least working two events. I wouldn't have it any other way.
