Goodbye UF

As the year comes to a close, so does my time as a college student. The University of Florida has blessed me with incredible opportunities that no other school could have provided me. It's hard to even say which part was the best. Maybe meeting Erin Andrews or the SEC Nation crew. Or maybe it was getting to be on the sidelines for the Gator football games. Or maybe it was traveling to Oklahoma City to report on the Gator softball team in the Women's College World Series. I also traveled to Israel for two weeks along with 50 other Gators who quickly all become a part of my family. Being in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Golan Heights, and the West Bank during Hanukkah was also very cool.

For the past year, I've spent all of my days in the Innovation News Center. That's where I anchor the WUFT First at Five show, produce the sports segment, write and record stories for ESPN Gainesville WRUF. In the AHA! Lab  I typically meet with other students to work on projects or study. The Center for Innovation and Media Research is where UF Association for Women in Sports Media meets for monthly meetings and to hear from guest speakers. The INC truly is a great place to walk in every day, and even makes long nights bearable. I know it will soon feel strange not stepping into this newsroom each day.
